When several broadcast networks, including Fox Television, won their case in the Supreme Court against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), invalidating fines they had received for indecency, I was surprised that even the short summary from Fox News anchor Shannon Bream on Fox News' program "Happening Now" failed to mention that Fox Television was a party in the case, though downplaying Fox's victory in FCC v Fox Television may result from the contradiction between Fox Television's position on profanity before the Supreme Court and Fox News' editorial position on profanity, as I show in this video.
The clip I use of Shannon Bream reporting the Supreme Court's decision in FCC v Fox Television comes from a longer segment of Fox News' June 21, 2012, broadcast of "Happening Now" (which I have not found available online).
The clips I use of Fox Television lawyer Carter Phillips arguing the case of Fox television v FCC before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in December 2006 come from my 2008 video titled "Fox News Likes YouTube Censorship?" available on YouTube at http://bit.ly/LDNFd3
The clip I use of Bill O'Reilly and John Stossel comes from a longer segment of Fox News' June 12, 2012, broadcast of "The O'Reilly Factor" available online at http://bit.ly/PGtNv8
