He's saying what many are thinking and whispering "Careless Rhetoric" --the kind that caused a white man to shoot 5 innocent blacks in Oklahoma) is surely firing-up a base of 200 million gun toting individuals with fear-mongering, baseless claims. Silence is approval (apart from the many heads nodding in approval), but I expect leaders who claim to love this country to be mature, civil and wise enough to know that this is counterproductive. Ted Nugent (and many others) have gone far beyond free speech, in my estimation. For if one can get upset at the burning of the flag, ANY THREATS AGAINST THE PRESIDENCY (especially by those purporting to be veterans) should be considered an act of treason.
